NEW DELHI: Television soaps and sitcoms invariably announce their arrival on the scene with larger-than-life outdoor campaigns. It is through the outdoor that many high-decibel TV shows have reached out to the local audiences. In keeping with this trend, SAB TV launched a one-month outdoor campaign in Uttar Pradesh’s twin cities Kanpur and Lucknow to promote its recently launched comedy show 'Mrs. Tendulkar’. The campaign has been executed by Broadview Mediacom.
The channel has focused on the two cities in view of the demographics and the increasing interest that shows like this have created among the local audiences.
Broadview Mediacom has used mainly large formats like billboards and unipoles at strategic locations like markets and traffic junctions to draw eyeballs to the show.
Commenting on the campaign execution, Gautam Chadha, founder and managing director, Broadview Mediacom, said, “It is great to have a GEC channel on board.
The channel promises to bring a smile to viewer’s faces through its innovative family pertained comedy shows. We have done various campaigns with different media for SAB TV in the past. And, this time, we were briefed by the client that their objective of the campaign is to make their new launch ‘Mrs. Tendulkar’ a household name in Kanpur and Lucknow.
Broadview shortlisted media that was approved by the client.”
'Mrs. Tendulkar' is produced by Hats Off Production, makers of popular sitcoms like 'Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai', 'Khichdi' and 'Baa Bahoo aur Baby’.
