JOHANNESBURG: Vehicle branding experts Graffiti recently gave garden landscaping and maintenance company, Abacus Gardens, a fresh new look with the re-branding of 19 of their working vehicles.
Tim Horn, managing director, Abacus Gardens, commented, "The fact that we have so many vehicles on the roads transporting gardening crews each day, provides us with the ready-made opportunity to have our own unique moving billboards. We recently upgraded our fleet to ensure a larger canopy for the safety and comfort of our workers and this provided us with an opportunity to refresh our branding and give the brand a bold new look."
One of the country's largest landscaping companies heralded the launch of the new vehicles with a mini-roadshow through a number of busy Johannesburg suburbs and generated a great deal of interest and excitement both amongst the public and the Abacus Gardens staff.
"This launch-exercise did a great deal to promote staff morale and pride. We were pleasantly surprised to see how genuinely the change has positively impacted upon our staff – they are exceptionally proud of their bold new look!" enthused Horn.
Graffiti sales director Gavin Schlaphoff added, "Abacus Gardens already had a presence on our roads with their vehicles, but the re-branding just gave them a bold, eye-catching new look that allows them to stand out in the traffic. A great deal of their business is generated from people noticing the vehicles on the roads each day, so it was important that we ensured they continued to create an impact."
