 AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has invited bids under the ‘three-envelope’ system from select advertising agencies for displaying advertisements on approximately 7,600 buses. The contract will be awarded for a period of two years. The earnest money deposit (EMD) required is Rs. 10 lakh.
Under the terms, the total upset value of the contract is Rs. 7 crore.
To be eligible for the contract, applicants should be registered in India under the companies act or as an individual firm or as an individual agency for at least three and should not be blacklisted by any government authority in India.
Applicants should have a minimum annual turnover of Rs. 5 crore for each of the last three financial years.
Applicants will have to submit the EMD in the form of a demand draft or banker’s cheque, drawn in favour of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation, payable at Ahmedabad.
Interested agencies can download the RFP document from the website up to November 16, 2011.
Applicants will have to submit a tender fee of Rs. 5,500 through a demand draft or banker’s cheque issued by a nationalised or scheduled bank, drawn in favour of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation, payable at Ahmedabad along with the bids.
Applicants will have to submit their offers in three parts namely, pre-qualification bid, technical bid and commercial bid and in the specified formats.
Applicants will have to submit the commercial bids online only. The pre-qualification and technical bids will have to be submitted both online and in hard copy along with the requisite documents before the last date and time of bid submission.
The hard copies can be submitted to the office of the chief traffic and commercial manager, GSRTC central office, Vahan Vyavahar bhawan, Ahmadabad - 380 022 up to 4pm on November 16, 2011.
Tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.05pm.
