 TIRUCHIRAPPALLI: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited bids from reputed firms offering advertisement rights on approximately 415 baggage trolleys in the New Integrated Terminal Building (NITB) at Tiruchirappalli airport along with retrieval and naintenance. The contract will be awarded for a period of three years and will attract a minimum reserved license fee Rs. 2,40,700 per month. The earnest money deposit (EMD) required is Rs. 1.44 lakh.
To be eligible for the contract, applicants should have minimum two years of experience in advertisement on trolleys business at transportation centre like airports, sea ports, railways, metro stations, malls, hoteliers/airlines including foreign airlines/business and industrial houses/courier agencies/shopping malls etc.
Applicants should have a minimum annual turnover of Rs. 14,44,200, half of which should be from similar business. The turnover should be in any of the last five financial years. Documentary proof to this effect will have to be submitted along with the bids.
Applicants will have to submit the EMD in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of AAI, Trichy.
Tender documents, indicating full details of the license are available on payment of Rs. 5,000 by demand draft favouring “Airports Authority of India”, payable at Trichy on any working day between 10am and 5pm up to February 23, 2012 from the office of the airport director, Airports Authorities of India, Tiruchirappalli airport, Trichy - 620 007.
If the tender documents are downloaded from the website, the cost of the tender documents will have to be paid on or before the tender submission date.
Duly completed tender documents must reach the above mentioned address latest by 3pm on February 24, 2012.
The technical bids will be opened at 3.30pm on the same day.
