Eastern Railway offers ad-rights on gantries at Howrah station

HOWRAH: Eastern Railway has invited quotations from reputed firms, advertising agencies and corporate houses for awarding ad-rights for display of advertisements on two gantries in the circulating area of the Howrah station on a ‘first-come-first-serve’ basis. The reserve price for six months has been kept as Rs. 10,73,694 for first gantry and Rs. 9,62,499 for second gantry.

A total of 5,109 sq. ft display space is being offered on these gantries, comprising of 2,694 sq. ft for gantry-1 (first gantry from the northern end) and 2,415 sq. ft for gantry-2 (fourth gantry from northern end).

As per the tender notice, the duration of the contract will be six months or till finalisation of the regular contract, whichever is earlier.

Each gantry is being treated as a separate tender. Applicants will have to submit separate tenders for each gantry.

Duly completed tenders will have to be submitted to the Sr. divisional commercial manager, Eastern Railway, Howrah (Rail Yatri Niwas Building, fourth floor), Howrah station, Howrah latest by February 20, 2012.

The dates mentioned above are tentative and need to be further verified from the concerned authorities.
