 MANGALORE: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited tenders under the 'two-bid’ system through e-tendering for awarding advertisement rights inside and outside terminal building at Mangalore airport for a period of five years. . A total of approximately 22,312 sq. ft display space is being offered through this tender. The minimum reserve license fee per month is Rs. 1,26,51,875 and the earnest money deposit (EMD) required is Rs. 45,55,000.
As per the eligibility criteria specified, applicants should have three years experience in advertisement display business at transportation centres like airports, sea ports, railways, metro rail stations etc.
Applicants should have a minimum annual turnover of Rs 15,18,22,500, out of which, 50 percent should be from relevant business for which the facility has been tendered.
Applicants will have to remit the EMD through RTGS/NEFT to AAI, Mangalore sufficiently early, so that the amount gets credited on or before the date of technical bid opening.
The tender documents can be downloaded from the website up to 5pm on June 21, 2012. Applicants will have to pay the cost of e-tender amounting to Rs. 15, 000 through HDFC bank payment gateway, provided on the portal itself.
Duly completed tenders should be submitted online through e-tendering latest by 3pm on June 22, 2012.
The technical bids will be opened on the same day at 4.30pm.
