MUMBAI: In a sudden development, Kaushik Tanna, co-founder and managing director, Realtime Interactive Media has quit his position. He was associated with the company for about two years. The reason for his leaving is not known, however, informed sources say that difference of opinions on the vision towards the medium might have prompted him to take this step.
Confirming this development to network2media, and talking about his association with Realtime Interactive Media, Tanna said, "The medium was very interesting, where there is a captive audiance travelling inside the public buses for fairly long periods. Creating an engagement was the key. During my tenure, we believed in giving creative and content based solutions to the brands. The clients were convinced to see this medium in a different light and not treat it just as any other television set to play their regular TVCs."
"The journey was very exciting, specially with this being my first entrepreneurial venture. Right from sourcing quality content and creating various engagement theories to innovative client campaigns. the medium surely has much more potential as more and more brands are being exposed to it. As an individual, it gave me a lot of confidence to handle big businesses", added Tanna.
Talking about future plans and the way forward, Tanna said, "First of all, I would like to take a break from the hectic schedule. Thereafter, there are a few projects in the pipeline that I am evaluating. I am keenly interested in exploring opportunities in marketing consultancy with a focus on producing content and creatives across various platforms."
Tanna has diverse experience of a decade in the fields of marketing, branding, corporate sales, alliances and BTL. Prior to Realtime Interactive, he has worked with reputed companies like Dimples Cine, Shoppers Stop and Future group.
