NEW DELHI: More than a year after its inception, Apex Integrated Marketing, a professional Out-of-Home agency has ventured into the retail designing and implementation space by launching its retail vertical, Apex Aim Retail.
Speaking on this enterprise, Gourav Tandon, managing partner, Apex Integrated Marketing, said, "Expansion of offerings is and should be the key prerogative of any upcoming agency. During the course of our evolution, we at Apex strongly felt the need to broaden our horizons and offer a plethora of solutions in the retail and way finding space. Calling it just a retail division would be like emasculating the very scope that this venture has to offer, we are putting forward services ranging from progressive designing, new age digital media, intensive media, in and out store branding to way finding solutions.
Elaborating on the venture, Vikas Bhambri, managing partner, Apex Integrated Marketing, said, "The very purpose of any mode of advertising is to draw consumers towards the product shelf. Retail solutions is about designing experiences, decoding impulsive buying behaviour, the thought process, strategic relevance and apt synchronisation of all the elements to deliver the final product. Another important aspect of our division will be way finding solutions. Today, with the rapid growth in infrastructure development, we have seen the advent of large projects hitting the market, from modernisation of airports to big real estate projects and metro transit development."
Bhambri added, "Demystifying paths and providing effortless way finding and navigational solutions is a very important aspect in the development of projects of such magnitude. We at Apex are proposing end to end solutions in this particular domain."

Teaming up in this venture will be Amit P Kapani, Subhash M Palan and Shailesh V Vala. Kapani will be spearheading the function in the capacity of chief executive officer, while Palan and Vala will don the roles of chief administrator and chief design officer respectively.
Commenting on the venture, Amit P Kapani said, "I am elated on our association and being a part of this youthful, energetic and dynamic team at Apex. Kapani added, "Retail design must create a thematic experience for the consumer by using the key elements to entertain as well as entice the consumer to purchase goods and interact with the space. Enhanced emphasis will be laid on creating suitable environments in order to reflect the merchandise to the potential target consumer group."
Kapani is a masters in business management from Sydney University, Australia. He started his carrier in LG as marketing manager for MENA region in advertising and signage industry.
His global exposure includes USA, Europe, BRIC, Middle East, Far East, Australia etc. Exposed to aviation, logistics and visual communications industry at a very young age, his key strengths lie in marketing, generating project leads, industry pulse and capital generation.
Subhash M Palan a is a self made successful technocrat running his business based out of Mumbai for the last 42 years. He has executed various advertising projects involving scrolling displays, LED displays, aluminum clip frames, roll up stands, airport signages etc. He also pioneered introduction of machined parts in signage manufacturing and thus added value to the industry. His global exposure includes USA, Europe, Middle East, Far East, Sri Lanka etc. His strengths are administration and project management.
Integral part of this venture is Shailesh V Vala, an architect by qualification from Mumbai, who would be the chief design officer. Having Initially worked with eminent architects like Dr. BV Doshi, Ajit Bhuta, Bobby Mukherji, he gradually acquired expertise into the signage industry. He has gained vast experience from all aspects of the industry right from manufacturing of raw material to finished goods. Contributed immensely to create the ‘just right’ brand of advertising products range. His global exposure includes Europe, Middle East, Far East, South Africa, China, Taiwan etc. From consulting to a business owner, he has been involved in projects like kiosk manufacturing, railway coach advertising, stadium branding, airport signage, mall branding etc. His key strengths lie in product development, technicalities, analysis of projects and providing solutions, design inputs, project synthesis etc.
